Rayman: Raving Rabbids lets you hop into the skin of Rayman, this being without arm nor legs who must face a rabbit invasion. Indeed, during a sympathetic nerve picnic with the children of Globox, Rayman sees appearing one, two, three, four then hundreds of rabbits having a large brain like a hazel nut. However, outclassed by their number, Rayman sees itself constrained to follow them in their reference mark in order to become their new animal of circus. It is at this time that your adventure in a game not having begins really a scenario. Yes there is a setting in scene well, but the scenario of the game only evolves/moves very little and this last does not propose history as such as in the other shutters of the Rayman frankness. In fact, all that you will make will be to walk you in an arena in order to supplement four mini-games at each day there. It is all? It is all, but it is much more amusing which that does not let it suppose.

The immersion of the is made possible thanks to its humour. Admittedly, Rayman: Raving Rabbids is a rather light game in comparison with its predecessors, but it does not remain less than it has its charm thanks to its often absurd, but irresistible humour at the same time. The rabbits are so idiotic and so clumsy that they become charming about it and one takes pleasure to laugh at their errors. For example, when you witness their dances, you will not be able to retain laughter, just like when they fight between them or that they will shout you afterwards with their large mouths counting only some teeth. The game parodies also several songs and even some games of Ubisoft. Let us say that you are likely to laugh when you intend rabbits to sing “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” or when you must fight rabbits disguised as a Sam Fisher.

The mini-games are also quite funny to the point that sometimes they are strange or quite simply absurd. On the whole, there are 70 mini-games which are present in Rayman: Raving Rabbids, which is a number all the same reasonable in comparison with other games offering only mini-games, like Mario Party or WarioWare. Some are diverting, others a little less, but all take advantage of the levers of Wii in beautiful ways and contribute to the humour of the game. For example, mini-game will ask you to milk cow while raising and dropping levers of console (as if you draw the magpies from a cow), another will ask you to drown rabbits avanceant itself towards you with carrot juice whom you will launch in their masks by pointing your Wiimote to the screen and by brewing your Nunchuk and another to launch it cow will make you carry out (yes, you read well). However, in this mini-game, you will have to make turn your Wiimote in the airs as if you made turn your cow before slackening it to propel it to far. Demented person, strange, but very amusing!

The mini-game which proves however to be more diverting is that which will be often present when you finish one day. Indeed, after having supplemented three of four the one day mini-games (the fourth being optional), you will have to finish another mini-game being is a race little removing with back of strange animals or a course with the first nobody where you will have to draw from rabbits. It is this mini-game which proves to be the cream of the game so much it is pleasant to supplement. As mentioned, you will incarnate Rayman in various levels and your character will automatically move with the first anybody. However, as in the good games of shooting of arcade, you will have to kill your enemies by drawing them by pointing Wiimote with the screen and by reloading your ammunition from a blow from Nunchuk. The whole functions very well and really hangs so that one is in a hurry to finish one day in the hope to supplement another level of this mini-game, especially which it will happen that rabbits sink you straightforwardly above or that you face of Sam Fisher to the long ears!

Even if Raving Rabbids offers a good selection of mini-games and a twisting humor, it does not remain about it less than it becomes repetitive, and this rather quickly. Indeed, as there are no levels to supplement as in other Rayman, you will have only to supplement three or four mini-games per day then to turn over to your cell before starting again other tests, and this until you can escape while accumulating from the suction cups by finishing each day. The suction cups will be indeed used to you to climb one of the walls of your cell to reach an open window and, therefore, your freedom. Thus see that the game becomes repetitive more quickly than it would be liked it since one carries out the same actions continuously. There are well some changes which occur with the wire of our progression (of which changes within the cell and the respect which the rabbits express as one supplements successfully of the tests), but that does not prevent Raving Rabbids from being a game becoming redundant rather quickly.

To mitigate that, Ubisoft included others surprised and modes with the game, whose Score mode which will enable you to accumulate the most points possible with the mini-games than you will have freed in the principal countryside. Moreover, made interesting to note, a code will be given to you to each time you establish a score. You will be able to then register this code on Internet site of the game in order to compare to you with the gamers of the whole world. At least, failing to have an on-line mode, Raving Rabbids the possibility offers to us of comparing to us between gamers, even if an option to do it directly on line by Wii would have been pleasant. You will be able to also free costumes and songs by supplementing four mini-games at each day, even if that does not give practically anything in end line. In fact, you will hear the songs interpreted by the rabbits which you will free only in your cell and the costumes will be useful to you only if you do not like appearance owing to lack of Rayman.

The majority of the mini-games can be also played as multiplayer, which can be extremely pleasant due to the pleasure that the majority get. On the other hand, the multiplayer has his limits and will disappoint some of them. Thus, it is not possible to game all mini-games with several simultaneously, several asking that each one game in turn. On the other hand, the mini-game where you must draw from rabbits in sight to the first anybody makes it possible two gamers to cooperate and pulverize rabbits together, which can be extremely interesting. However, the fact that one cannot game all mini-games simultaneously and that there is absence of any on-line mode disappoints somewhat, and this same if the mini-games offered are stuffed of humour and that the game has its charm making us like, in spite of us, these rabbits cretins.

Graphically, it is known from now on that the Nintendo Wii is not a monster of power and Raving Rabbids shows it at certain places. The characters are well modelled, but are not detailed and remain rather simple, with the image of the series. On the other hand, the game swims in bright colours and animations of the characters fluid and are well carried out with the screen, especially those of the rabbits which are to be died of laughing on certain occasions. The game rolls to a constant fluidity it does not matter the action with the screen and certain special effects are very well made, in particular the effects of explosions which are very beautiful to see. On the other hand, the crowd which will look you in the arena are horrible. In fact, when there are closes-up to film the reactions of rabbits, you will see models 3D of those, but in background, these will be much pixelized models in 2D that you will see. Worse still, these same models 2D will be present when you walk in the arena and do not move at all.

Sound side, the game includes/understands a good soundtrack proposing of many pieces of music remixes with the murmurs of the rabbits and which give right very humorous results. In addition to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”, you will find “Bamba” and even a Christmas carol interpreted by rabbits. Each piece of music is returned in an exemplary quality and is extremely pleasant to hear. The sound effects are also of good quality and have also a humorous small key sticking well with the environment of the game. However, the noises coming from Wiimote are not good quality and, when certain mini-games require that one listens to the sound effects of the lever, one cannot be prevented from being confused so much compared to some of them their quality leaves something to be desired. To note that Raving Rabbids does not include/understand any voice, not even not Rayman, which contrasts with Rayman 3 where several of the characters were equipped with the faculty of the word. Instead of that, you will have right only to simple murmurs on behalf of the characters, of which laughing cries on behalf of rabbits, especially when they attack you.

Unfortunately, Rayman: Raving Rabbids is not an example with regard to its lifespan, especially if you do not expect that to game in solo. Admittedly, to beat its score can be amusing, but there are limits with replays unceasingly with the same mini-games. The countryside solo is not very long as for it, taking only a few hours to hardly be finished. In fact, in one hour, you are likely to have already finished one the third of the game, which is not little to say. Obviously, if you have friends with whom to game, the lifespan will be strongly decorated by it, even if the portion multiplayer has his limits. Raving Rabbids is thus a perfect game for a hiring of an end of the week in order to spend good moments in company of very stupid rabbits and a purchase only if you envisage to game so much as a multiplayer the portion solo proves to be too short to justify with it only a purchase.

Nintendo shows big balls: to launch a continuation of a game having raised the controversy at the time of its publication. That the series is called Zelda, that does not guarantee of anything excellence of its games and several proved besides the disappointed of Wind Waker on GameCube, its style childish and its long stroll in boat having made quiver more than one fan. Let us acknowledge it: the game had failures and the producer stipulated itself that certain portions of Wind Waker were horrible. However, it would seem well that the originator and his team wanted to be made off forgive fans of Zelda by repairing the errors of Wind Waker in the design of The Legend Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, one of the best games of action and platforms to have embraced Nintendo DS.

Phantom Hourglass is the direct continuation of Wind Waker and takes seat a few months after this last. Link, at the time of a voyage in open sea in company of Tetra, is seen quickly plunged in a new adventure when this one is made remove by a mysterious ghost ship. Slightly amnesic at the time of his alarm clock, the young adventurer will become acquainted with a small fairy which will guide it through its new adventure which, you suspect it well, will carry out it to save the world of a terrible threat. Phantom Hourglass is thus not a game as memorable as of other titles of the Zelda frankness in the sense that he proposes a traditional history of the young hero having to save the beautiful one and the orphan of the claws of large malicious. Even if the universe of Phantom Hourglass is populated high characters colors and attaching, one does not feel as impregnated in the history as in, for example, Ocarina off Time or even Twilight Princess. Less black and tragic, Phantom Hourglass is more centered on humor that on the drama, which will disappoint those somewhat expecting a very major scenario.

One of the innovations of Phantom Hourglass is its controls, which revolutionize the way of gaming Zelda. Thus, you will have to make slip your stylus on the touch screen to make walk or run Link, attack enemies in their typing above and make use of the stylus in order to benefit from the objects which you will collect. For example, with the boomerang, you will have to trace the trajectory of your throw then to slacken the pressure exerted by your stylus. All in the game is controlled only by the stylus if it is not that you can select the active object of your inventory using the button L. Although that can horrify certain gamers, I certify to you that the whole functions very well and adds an at the same time fresh and original dimension to the Zelda frankness. Controlling Link using the stylus asks certainly for a time of adaptation, but will reach to you easily that point after a few minutes of game so much the whole intuitive and is extremely well conceived by Nintendo. The use of certain objects, whose arc and boomerang, are as much more precise with the stylus as with the buttons and the cross, making easier the attacks than one can carry out with these weapons on the enemies. To note that you will collect, with the wire of the game, the fairies whose capacities could be increased through spheres to pile up in order to temporarily increase various your characteristics, of which the force or defence.

Zelda is a series recognized for its headaches, particularly in its keeps. Extremely fortunately for the amateurs of the frankness, the headaches presented in Phantom Hourglass are quite as intelligent and pleasant to supplement that in the games of passed and take effectively favors possibilities of Nintendo DS. Indeed, you will be able from now on to register notes on the charts of the game in order to point out certain indices or places to be visited to you, which is very useful throughout the search. Moreover, certain portions of the game will force you to take notes and to carry out this task is very easy since Nintendo effectively separated the functions from the game on the two screens of the console. You will be able constantly to make rock the chart presented in the screen top towards the screen of bottom in order to register notes there, thus allowing to note in real-time any relevant information about treasures to discover or of indices on headaches to be supplemented.

However, some problems arise with this great use of the touch screen. Certain movements of Link are sometimes confused by the game and you will see that it will sometimes happen to you to go instead of running. The roulade is a movement very difficult to carry out and badly conceived by Nintendo since it is necessary to trace small circles on one of the edges of the touch screen to make roll Link. To take this last with its hand also blocks part of the screen and, unfortunately, you will never see completely your environment on the touch screen since your hand will hide a portion of this one, especially with the layouts which you will carry out using your stylus. To note that the access to the inventory is also problematic, not being paused game when one wishes to change active object. For example, if you wish to change object to pass from the bomb to the boomerang in order to strike an enemy, you will have to change active object very quickly since your adversary will not be stopped to leave you time to select another object. To pause the game when one reaches his inventory or to allow to have more than one active object would have been extremely appreciated so much that can be harmful in our experiment of game, especially at the time of the engagements.

Phantom Hourglass benefits also from the two screens of the Nintendo DS by dividing on the occasion the action. For example, it will sometimes happen to you to face certain boss in the screen of bottom while taking account of its position in the screen top. Even if the microphone is not often made profitable (after all, to game with a portable console a little everywhere and to shout can be as ashamed as unpleasant), this use is extremely well established in Phantom Hourglass and contributes to the general pleasure felt at the time of the completion of enigmas. In addition, those has already gamed in Hotel Dusk: Room 251 will recognize certain functions of this last in some headaches of Phantom Hourglass, which is also likely to surprise those not having gamed with this game of investigation of Nintendo on the NDS.

Even if I adored the often clever headaches of Phantom Hourglass and the original use of several of his objects, I must acknowledge that the difficulty of the game disappointed me. This last is too much easy and the indices to supplement the headaches are very often too explicit and in too great quantity, removing most of the challenge offered. The majority of the keeps are also shorter than in other Zelda, Nintendo has even removed the charts and the compasses of the keeps which however were well appreciated within the other games. The keep of the king of the seas (who will be the first to which you will face) is also frustrating and wearying to supplement since you will often return there at the time of your search in order to seek indices there on the place where to return to you to continue your adventure. However, on each occasion, you will have to remake the same levels and to supplement the same headaches with hardly some small alternatives of once with the other.

The voyages on water are probably the worst idea recently integrated into the frankness Zelda. You will have to trace the road which will borrow with this last through the seas of the game. During your voyages, you will have to supervise the neighbourhoods of your ship since the seas will be filled of pirates and creatures wishing to run your fleet. On the other hand, the ship never seems to go rather quickly to join a bench of fish and you will see that you will have difficulty in fish the various marine species of the game. In addition, the game makes it possible to modify the boat of Line beck using parts which you will find in trunks and at the bottom of the seas. A more thorough system of modification making it possible to acquire parts improving truly our boat would have been extremely pleasant to use instead of the rather poor system than one offers to us and not being, in end of line, than a pretext to change the appearance of our ship.

The voyages in boat of Phantom Hourglass passably annoyed me all the same, even if they are less long and wearying that those of Wind Waker. Nintendo reduced the size of the seas, included more gates and furnished the voyages of more than simulative elements, in particular of the enemies whom one can bombard with blows of gun and more islands to be discovered and, later on, to explore. There are as more treasures to fish out as in Wind Waker and the fact of having to acquire them through a mini-game is more simulative than if that were done automatically. Despite everything, I deplore the presence of these voyages in boat in the Zelda series since they are far from as being amusing as those of other Zelda where one walks to back of horse or even to foot. To trace a road then to observe its neighbourhoods during a few minutes in the hope to see an enemy or an unknown island particularly did not amuse me. Fortunately that these voyages are more interactive and courts that in Wind Waker differently, my disappointment towards these means of transport would have been even more important than in Wind Waker while knowing than many gamers complained about the marine voyages of this last.

Graphically, Phantom Hourglass is one of the games more surprising of Nintendo DS. The result with the screen is splendid, the environments being very coloured and the characters moving with a great fluidity. If you did not like the models of characters of Wind Waker, you are likely not to more like those of Phantom Hourglass, especially which they are very pixelized when the camera approach their bodies. However, if you like the concealment-shading, you will be happy to learn that the effects of particles, smoke and water are slightly less pretty than those of Wind Waker, which is far from being a defect taking into account the power of the Nintendo DS. In fact, Phantom Hourglass is a game which one appreciates truly by his visual beauty so much the environment 3D surprises on a console with the power limited all the same. It should be noted that it is impossible to move the camera when one travels to foot, which is a little problematic when one wishes to draw or strike a target far from Link with an object. Unfortunately, although the pieces of music are good, they are not as memorable as those of other Zelda, which is explained partly by their former presence in Wind Waker. In fact, several musical samples were taken again of Wind Waker, which removes part of their charm. The sound effects are also of good quality, although they are them also similar to those of other Zelda (in particular on the level of the cries of Link).

Side lifespan, as I mentioned, the game is not particularly difficult and the majority among you will pass to through in about fifteen hours, at most. However, the game abounds in secondary searches and mini-games, of which treasure hunts, contests of shooting to the arc and ball of gun and the harvest of ruby in quantity (finally) unlimited allowing getting many objects. If you wish all to carry out in the game, you will have some for more than twenty hours, which is extremely acceptable for a game of the kind. A portion multiplayer is also present, even if it is not as simulative as Four Swords was it in time. In fact, the multiplayer mode opposes two gamers, one directing Link and the other of large armoured guards of the name of Spectra. Perhaps who knows, will be entitled us to Zelda on Nintendo DS proposing at the same time a complete portion solo as well as co-operative and competitive a multiplayer mode which could, in addition, to be gamed on line?

Orcs & Elves are to some extent an example of this kind of play: a RPG reduced to the extreme, but which for the majority of the gameers will be a rather pleasant experiment!

In many roleplays, the phase of creation of its character is a tiresome process, complicated and which will influence the pleasure that there will be in the continuation. Then one must study the class, alignment, the race, your weapon of predilection; one must also redistribute points in categories which must correspond to our choices. In short, it is in general in this phase which RPGs traditional lose the general public except if the developers added models done everything characters. However, with Orcs & Elves, when you enter the game, not of waste of time, the action begins at once and you will not have a lot of choices to make.

You are thus plunged in a fortress with monsters which arrive out of each corner, you must visit the corridors, to find the corners secret, to speak with the phantoms which will enable you to have the combinations of the doors blocked by locks with four keys. To help you, you have Ellon, a magic stick speaking which holds you with the current of what you must make, who warns to you when your armor or your life is on critical levels and which can to also be useful you at the time of the engagements. However, when this first enemy arrives, not need to try to beat it in speed on the use of the weapons: if it is your turn, choose the adequate weapon among those which you have at your disposal and each one its turn, a movement will be made. Thus a combat can be summarized as follows when a rat emerges to 2 boxes in front of you: a magic attack of stick, the rat advances of a box, another attack of stick, the rat is in front of you and jumps once you above, change of weapon to give a blow of sword, the rat jumps you still above and your last attack to the sword the terrace. The more one advances, the more the choice of the weapon is important, because for example a monster of fire could not be affected by the sword of fire, which however is frightening on the spirits or the rats. Each unfavourable death gives you a certain number of points of experiment, which at the end of a certain stage is transformed into level which make you become stronger and more resistant to the enemy attacks.

Between each level, you will be able to pass in your friend the Dragon which games a double part: the first makes it possible to sometimes make the transitions between the 12 levels which compose your adventure, but especially he is the salesman, that near which one comes to buy a new weapon, ammunition for your weapons, of the magic potions or what to repair your armor. Obviously more the Dragon is of good mood, more it will be easy for you to have a reasonable price as a ring which would facilitate work to you. Thus once supplied you set out again in the maze of the next level, trying to remain in life in front of the attacks more and more sharp of your adversaries, after having had a summary table of your statistics on that which you have just finished. Obviously that will make it possible to the people to make a cleaning clean to know if they must turn over in the corridors or not, which can prove to be a means circumvented of prolonged the life of this game which unfortunately is excessively short!

Let us speak a little the technical side about the game, because as I said, the developers from ID Software decided to very make a game in on this side technically of what the portable console of Nintendo can offer to us. To start with the graphs, those which are sufficiently old or tears at the bases to have seen rolling Doom, one of largest successes of the company, will not be in unknown ground. For my part, considering the sometimes many meanders of the corridors, my screen of bottom was often blocked on the chart which is updated automatically with our steps. The sounds of the sword on the wall, the monster which dies or of the blow which remove a little life are them also of another time and the soundtrack is far from being exceptional. It is probably, with the lifespan the largest flat which I see with this game!

Following the infernal period of the autumn, us, game testers, let us mention a paradox that the average player generally does not know. This year, it is about Crackdown.

The scenario of Crackdown does not have anything to pass to the history. This setting in scene is very short in Crackdown and is only one excuse to go to kill out of the hundreds of members of these criminal bands wishing only to impose their law on Pacific City. But, when the freedom suggested by the game appears to us, we then manage to include/understand why Crackdown was one of the leading titles of Microsoft during the beginning of 2007.

Because yes, as opposed to what many people could think, Crackdown is not a bad game that Microsoft tried to sell by including an invitation for Halo 3. One should however not be astonished by the similarity between Crackdown and Grand Theft Auto. On the other hand, where Crackdown manages to differ from GTA is really as for freedom offered. In Crackdown, you will take part in the history of the play, but you will never be obliged to do it. Crackdown is made to leave the players a freedom such as certain actions can be carried out without the developers not thinking of it at the origin. In short, let your imagination go in Crackdown, the game proposes a great liberty of action which it is possible to exploit in multiple ways, giving right an open and extremely interesting play in end of line.

A point where Crackdown exceeds Grand Theft Auto is on the level of the development of the character. As I mentioned, Crackdown makes it possible to develop its main player through five fields of skills, namely the physical force, the agility, the precision with the firearms, the precision with the explosives and driving of a car. You will also find, through the environments of the game, the spheres of agility which will increase this skill of your character as well as spheres hidden which will improve all your fields of expertise of only one blow. This side role play of Crackdown really adds to the immersion and the pleasure of the game, especially that has a true impact on the course of this last.

Crackdown offers also simple and intuitive controls which will be appropriate for no matter whom having already played with a FPS game or a third person game. It took me only some minutes to take control of the game and if they were not problems of camera or few encountered difficulties when I wanted to control the enormous jumps of my character, I could say that controls of Crackdown are exemplary. Thus see that all the systems of Crackdown are alive and that the stronger your agent will be, the more you will be able to eliminate your enemies effectively and, in end of line, the more will draw you from the play as tel.

Despite everything, Crackdown has some faults which cannot be last under silence. The feeling of freedom present within Crackdown is certainly important and gets a great pleasure, but it would have been necessary to more diversify the experiment of the play not to feel a feeling of lassitude after a few hours. These races are certainly numerous, but as there is only that to make in addition to in what attracted with the elimination of the bands of the city and discovered spheres hidden, say that Crackdown is a game becoming somewhat repetitive more quickly than it would be wished. Fortunately that the portion roleplay is present and makes a little less quickly appear this feeling of repetition differently, one would weary oneself of Crackdown much more quickly.

Graphically, Crackdown is not presented under a realistic angle. The characters are well modelled as a whole, but they do not raise much of details, especially for a play of the generation of Xbox 360. In short, Crackdown is a good game, it does not act quite simply of the play which will make you rock of your seat by its beauty. The soundtrack of Crackdown does not compare herself with that of Large Theft Auto, but the music present in the vehicles is of good invoice and especially is much diversified.

On the level of the lifespan, Crackdown is a game taking about fifteen hours at least if you follow only the principal history being offered. In fact, I am at present with more than fifteen hours and I did not succeed in yet definitively eliminating a band from Pacific City, having spent several hours with simply traversing the streets of the game to improve my character or to find the hundreds of spheres to be collected. Crackdown offers also three levels of difficulty and another solo mode where you will have as quickly as possible to eliminate the chiefs from the criminal bands of the city.

I am somebody with the very passive temperament. However, once at the wheel, just like the famous Nutcase, I have the very short wick towards the blasted Sunday drivers. If it were not owing to the fact that one could break our motor and by the fact of even generating salted an enough invoice, I would have with my credit several blows of bumper. In this case, Burnout Paradise will enable me not to have any fine and any wound and this for a very moderate amount. Prepare your wallet, you are on the point of getting a whole new handset to you!

One of the challenges which bring the popular licenses to certain developers is undoubtedly to bring innovation to each edition. Criterion nevertheless had known to take up this challenge with its frankness Burnout, the third opus having reached a level of excellence extremely appreciated by the community of the players. The arrival of a very first volume on the consoles of new generation was thus going to draw much attention of the public and much of ink already ran besides after the exit of a rather disappointing demonstration. You reassure, the whole experiment saw yourselves truly once one will have a copy of the play.

The majority among you who tested the version demonstration were certainly surprised by the open world to which one faces. The Burnout precedents had accustomed us to courser in linear and rather closed environments, if these are only few short cuts that there were by-Ci and by-there. It is thus not surprising that you were disconcerted at the time of your first approach in the streets of Paradise City. That’s no problem, once you will have seized all opportunities which are offered to you, an immense world will take shape then in front of you, with your own way, your own rate/rhythm and your own style of control. To tell the truth, the size of this chart is rather ridiculous and only the players having a television set in high-definition will be able to find themselves there a little. This breaks the rate/rhythm of the play unfortunately, until the moment when you will be more at ease with the roads of Paradise City. Nevertheless, one would have liked a system GPS developed a little better which could to at least have let us select a place on the chart for then having some guiding lines to go to destination. First of all, let us speak about the principal events. The majority of the intersections will offer various types of events to you. You will thus find first of all the races in their simplest form: leave the point has up to the point B. Then there are the races “Marked Man” in which you will have to go to a precise point in only one piece, because several enemies will try to prevent you. There will be also the events “Stunt” which will put to you with the challenge to accumulate a certain number of points by making various cascades (jumps, skids, barrels, etc) within an established time. There will be also “Road Rage” which will push you to destroy (take down!) a number X of enemies, always within a certain time. Then finally, there will be “Burning Route” to achieve with the respective car with the event in question. You will have to go to a place in the city within a very short time.

Will know nevertheless that each type of event will be represented by a color so that you can choose what you have the taste to do. Once your finished race, you will begin again where the latter ended and you will be able to continue to visit the neighborhoods in the search of an event which seems to you interesting. Small fact to note which rather displeased to me, it does not have there average a rapid to start again a lost race. You will have thus to redirect you towards your initial point and to again start. That would have been it to have a short cut flash well in order to avoid a so great waste of time. Nevertheless, nothing prevents you from rather making events which will be in your new horizons. If not, will know that each gained event will make progress your driving license. After a number X of supplemented events, your class of license will increase, thus making increase the level of difficulty of the play and also opening new events.

If you are little tanned standard events, several opportunities remain open to you. First of all, as regards freeing new cars, you will be initially informed that such a model is now on the roads of Paradise City. There exist several types of cars besides, each model having its own qualities and defects. Some will be heavier and more solids, while others will misprint on speed and lightness. Moreover, the vehicles will be able to collect to them boost various ways (in which a standard burned in particular which can use its bar of boost only once this one filled, but once in entirety will fill immediately, allowing you to connect Burnouts, just like in Burnout 2 and Burnout Dominator). Certain models will be favoured by make various cascades (jumps, controlled skids, to roll in opposite direction, etc) while others will become more threatening once they will have struck their adversaries. You will have thus to choose which model you will have need: do you wish to make cascades or rather accidental enemies? well you will be able initially to carry out records of time on each street (you locate at the beginning of a street and entirely traverse it most quickly than possible). Test-therefore Showtime by inserting both bumpers. You will collect your points according to the caused damage and it distance covered. Just like for the records of time, each street will have its own record of Showtime to achieve. Although one will regret the absence of a mode multiplayer out-line (Split screen), the online game offers one of the most pleasant experiments to which I had right in my life. You are playing as a recluse and a desire for playing on line takes to you? You will be able to then carry out different types of races and challenges according to the desire of the host and the number of players present in the part.

The transition between the two modes is invisible and the whole is done in a very effective way and extremely joke. Personally, I never assisted with any deceleration, but certain players met on line mentioned me that they had undergone some of them. Nevertheless, considering the size of the play, the level of details and especially at the speed to which one moves among this environment, work is fabulous. As for the accidents, they spectacular and are extremely well carried out at the point to have sorrow for your motors. If not, one will underline once more excel it returned paintings which you will be able to modify besides with your own way. As regards sound quality, one is largely spoiled. First of all, the sound effects extremely well are successful. It is successful so well which you will have almost badly when you make a percussion accident. Finally, as regards the playability, the play will ask for a few minutes of adaptation, but the whole remains very effective.

Altogether, Paradise seemed rather strange at the beginning. The vastness of the environment, but especially total freedom now offered, made us slightly confused.

If you bought Rock Band [...]

Since unmemorable times, the human being imitates its rock’n'roll star or his pop star preferred in front of the mirror of its room or under the shower. The weather can now leave the wall cupboard, invite friends, and be during the star in front of the TV. Here Band Rock Band

If you bought Rock Band with the complete kit, the size of the box has what to make fear. It should be said that this one includes/understands a guitar, the drum and a microphone. You will also have a hub ports USB which makes it possible to connect up to 4 articles by using one port USB of Xbox 360. Finally, you have also wiring necessary in order to connect you with your usual microphone of Xbox 360 in order to be able to sing while playing of the guitar or the drum.

Once you launch the game, you can control this last with an ordinary lever, via the guitar or the drum. What is well, it is that the game recognizes the instrument which you use to control you in the play. Even thing for the round, which includes/understands the same songs as with the guitar or the microphone, but in a different order. Without making of hiding-place, you know that the basic principle of the game resembles Guitar Hero enormously, Harmonics being besides the company which created this game before joining at Electronic Arts and MTV. This said, the developers did their work very well to try to dissociate as much as possible from Guitar Hero. There are well some small tricks important to know and which you will not necessarily discover if you will play directly. Indeed, Rock Band puts the emphases on the solos and also on the improvisation.

Thus let us make a fast tower of the three instruments of predilection to have a rock band, i.e. a guitar, a drum and a microphone. The comparison with that of Guitar Hero is inevitable. What has of good, it is that you can play with your guitar of Guitar Hero, this one being compatible. To me being gotten the play recently, having received to test Rock Band afterwards less than one week, I am well placed to make you the comparative one.

For my part, it is the guitar of Guitar Hero large gaining. I tested three different songs, using the guitar of Rock Band and then that of Guitar Hero and I performed always better with the latter. Because I am accustomed there? Let us say perhaps that the buttons on the guitar of Rock Band and the clip to play the notes will like some, but thus my case they is a little too sensitive to my taste. The buttons do not appear or very little when the guitar of face is looked at, and in fact they are inserted in the handle when we support above. The clip is quieter than that of Guitar Hero, but he also I finds it too sensitive. For the remainder, two additions are interesting. There is possibility of connecting its helmet Xbox Live in the guitar in order to sing. Moreover, there is a mini lever which gives right various effects at the time of the sequences where you activate the “star power” of Rock Band.

Screen, concept remains very similar to Guitar Hero, that is to say that it is necessary to make of the points, which multiply by make good sequences, crowd will applaud you or will hoot you free to ask you to leave scene if you are bad. The interesting additions are the solos of guitar and the improvisation at the end of certain songs. At the time of the solos, the bottom of the screen turns blue, one puts the emphases on the guitarist, and one posts you a percentage of success which progresses until the end of the solo. There are also certain finales where you can let go your imagination and you play all the notes which you want. The other negative point of the drum is that it is noisy. Let us say that if you have a young baby, a blonde who wants to read or a friend which is studying, they are likely all to say to you to their way of doing less noise.

The drum is without any doubt the peripheral which makes it possible to the player as much as possible to resemble a true musician. If not, for the remainder, in addition to the noise which is a disadvantage, it will be necessary for you to find a means of being quite sited and well at ease to play of the instrument, without having evils of back.

Finally, if you really like to sing and that you do not have of it enough Sing Star and company, you can also make go your voice of rock’n'roll star in Rock Band. I say that, because yes there is a career mode for the singer too.

The interface of the menus is in my opinion more diverting that when we want to play Guitar Hero. Yes, there are more options and yes, the play is strongly directed and strongly influences you to form a group and to compare to you with the remainder of planet, except that if you want to only play, in group or to confront you, it remains that I find navigation much less innate, which would be thus to somewhat re-examine. Firstly, all depend on the instrument on which you were installed, there is average to sail in the menus and when you wish to leave a song or a round, the play will automatically realize of the position which you are. What there is of good, it is that your character is less cartoon than in Guitar Hero, even if there is average to completely give him a “cool” style or completely eccentric. The “set list” is quite interesting, though here I would not be able to say to you if I find or not it better than Guitar Hero III. The only thing that I find stupid, it is to find some songs which are in the two plays, such as the Mississippi Queen or When You Were Young. I would on the other hand tend to say that the “set list” of Rock Bandwas well selected in order to be made fun in gang. On the other hand, there are some songs which really irritate me, because they are a little too experimental with my taste, with too long introductions or finales which do not finish any more finishing. My other disappointment consists with the fact that I do not find this learning curve, or would have I curve difficulty, by advance in the play, as one can feel it in Guitar Hero III. After having excavated in the menus to find the good mode which you want to play, after having taken time or not to create your characters, one is on the way for glory and rock’ N roll! Firstly, it is necessary a little discipline, because if somebody sat down for the first time in front of the drum and wants to test it a little whereas we are in the menus of selection, it just future the brothel because he will sail in the menus, will cancel selections, etc Brief.

Visual side, the play is worked much more than Guitar Hero III where all the prisoners have the same look for example. The screens of loading are interesting, because one sees the character that we personalized with his group in various situations of the life of musician in round.

Pushes of adrenalin bottom the lever envies? Do not seek further: Excite Truck is made for you. This game of race is not really a game like the others: if he sins by certain sides, he can also shine by others, and it is undoubtedly what makes some with final pleasant experiment.

Do you remember Excite Bike from the 80’ies, Excite Truck is one can say 3rd series since them Excite were entitled to a shutter on Nintendo 64. One should be able to remain about it there on the level of any bringing together between the three versions, and this for at least two reasons: on the one hand, the game does not have editor of levels and on the other hand, the motor bikes left their place to 4×4. With its multiple turbos, its boosts, the game gets enormous feelings, which grow louder and louder when your vehicle is with tens of meters of altitude and that you have the impression more nothing to control. This element belongs to the strong points of the game, because you feel extremely at this time there, with this single feeling which you are able all to control. Eh yes, one forgot it perhaps a little, but Excite Truck is a game of race: that well will leap in the airs five minutes, but it is also necessary to think of gaining. The victory depends on two parameters: the position of the vehicle to the classification, and the number of stars accumulated during the race.

These stars go in makes determine the aptitude of the game as well as possible to exploit the ground which is put under its wheels: skids, fixings, takings risk, accidents of trees. Each action which the gamer takes will thus give a number of stars whose total is what imports more. A classification in letters, E with S for Super, indicates if the performance is satisfactory, the unavoidable objective being of course to have enough stars to have an S in each race. The game counts 3 championships: Bronze, Silver and Gold. A Diamond championship is present in the Super mode Excites. When a championship is acquired, the following is available, and so on. Each race will oppose the gamer to 5 competitors. The circuits take us along in universes rather varied like Canada, Finland, Scotland, Mexico, Chile and the Fiji Islands. One imagines then which landscapes to wait: mountains, beaches where the palm trees pullulate (solid, in addition), of the paved stone roads, the desert tracks… These landscapes are not fixed: it is possible to change them while rolling on a point of exclamation.

The decorations are sympathetic, but graphics do not play a major role in Excite Truck: here, it is the gameplay which is important. Because it was already forgotten: it is a Nintendo Wii game which is controlled by the Wiimote. One controls his vehicle by leaning the lever on the line or on the left, one manages the wind resistance by rocking the lever forwards or the back. Once these elements included/understood, one spends his time trying to remain in the air more the possible for a long time, because the most difficult figures are of course those which bring back the most points. But one quickly finds oneself to make enormous jumps, to try to remain in the airs more the possible for a long time while making in kind be posed on 4 wheels: to congratulate us on such a self-control, one then gains a boost which enables us to go even more quickly, and thus to jump even further. To have its own music can help with better controlling itself: when one presses on the cross, the turbo one starts and requires an overheating of the engine: a gauge helps to avoid running the engine, which makes lose much time.

Let us speak now about some elements which could have made Excites Truck a superb game: its multiplayer mode first of all, which misses few working weeks. And then they is enough irritating to be made beat by the come first to which multiple involuntary acrobatics are enough to grant the victory to the number of stars!

Another disappointment relates to controls: it should be recognized that one does not have always the feeling to have to it… control of the situation!

Bully: Schollarship edition is a game which marked the PS2 and its history because it was one of the first games has to propose the adolescent young delinquents. With a world success with the key, one could have believed that Rockstar had sold some enough. One often complained about the remakes with repetitions and yet, some manage to leave the batch.

The delinquency is a plague of which one after a fashion tries to get rid. Only, when the video games are interfered, they do not arrange anything… except perhaps the number of delinquents in the street, since they game finally in short…, all that to say that Bully Scolarship Edition is a game where you are a delinquent. The history is contemporary and occurs in a region lost from America, in a boarding school where the young person Jimmy Hopkins (you) there is left by his mother who leaves out of honeymoon one year with her new husband. Very to like the basic rabble which is Jimmy Hopkins since all the school becomes a gameing field.

The missions are rich and especially very different from/to each other and with all that you have the constraints of the college with the courses, the pawns which supervise you.

Who says remake on Wii says additions of small things by of which one thought or not. Here they are especially matters added to those which one already knew on PS2. But on the Wii version, the innovation that everyone waits more, it is the multiplayer mode! Mode to which we could test us! As you can suspect it, it is about the number of tests which you will have to achieve to two before knowing who you or your adversary is strongest.

It is necessary to acknowledge that this small side party-range adds something of really interesting to a game which did not need any fundamentally in its initial version on PS2, but which at the day of today seems almost logical so much it is well integrated into the game and environment.

Apart from the aspect “innovations in the game”, there is also this gamegame which, on Wii, is supposed to change whole with the whole. Seemingly of course, one thinks that it is irremediable and all the pejorative qualifiers which you will want, but one progressively discovers of the game a character human and attaching.

Even if most demanding does not find inevitably their account there, those which want to discover or rediscover this adventure, this Wii edition is the good means of doing it.

In Shadow Dancer you are from now on the only one with being able to overcome this insane murderer who improvised himself terrorist in order to complicate you the task.

In your childhood, you freely liked to wander in the fields of flowers. Also, for this radiant time, has had you one to give the nickname of “Dancer”. You worked hard to acquire good number of martial arts in which you are quickly become Master, in order to punish the rascals who, at the time, had grasp you of this ridiculous nickname and who, since, followed you everywhere where you combine.

Prevailing in the shade of the lanes, you ended up correcting all these rogues, using of your ancestral techniques and since, one appoints you “the Dancer of the Shade”. Shadow Dancer, what; in short, is very explained.

In a kimono and a white mask, you thus leave to the adventure in order to kill Sauros, known as the dead loss in the medium, which is incidentally the murderer of your faithful Kato, a young greenhorn whom you had left the gutter to make a champion of it.

Accompanied by your bitch, it not less faithful the Saw, you will have to clear you a passage through four worlds made up of moults levels (or training courses) each one.

Your mission is to recover the bombs disseminated in each one of them in order to be able to pass at the following level.
Armed with thousands of shurikens, which inflate your pockets, and of a katana that you leave his sleeve only when one enemy is too close to you in short it is the festival of the slipway for a warrior such as you.
When the situation requires it, you do not hesitate to launch your wolf over the enemies ambushes in order to dislodge these from their hole and to exterminate them as they deserve it (you Drop and press on fire).
Of course your wolf is not invulnerable and if you delay too much or if the enemy is too strong, in a canine yap tearing your tympanums, they will turn over to the state of inoffensive pup and is not to you any more any utility. Only a recovered bomb will be able to give again a form a little more acceptable to him.

You also have the possibility of progress on several plans. By maintaining the button supported fire and while going upwards or downwards, you will be able to reach certain inaccessible links or to pass over a netting behind which an enemy you nargue.

When you find yourselves in a desperate plight, you will be able to make use of one of your ultimate capacities while pressing on the bar of space; what will remove the screen from the majority of your attackers.

Between each world, you will pass by a level no-claims bonus, during which you will use all the ninja moving towards you. In the event of victory, should gain a life to you.

Developed by Images and distributed by US Gold, Shadow Dancer came in 1991 on the Amiga.

Converted a little more than one year after arriving in the arcades, Shadow Dancer is a beat’ EM all.

Graphically well in lower part of the original version, the title of US Gold uses sixteen colors in a window with honorable dimensions. Extremely fortunately lack of colors, inherent in the title published by US Gold, does not prevent Shadow Dancer Amiga version from being faithful to the Arcade version; and one can only be delighted some.

From a sound point of view, it is good whole, since the musics are of excellent quality and stick well to the action. The sound effects and other voices digits are of honourable quality.

Animation is not remains about it since the multidirectional scrolling is fluid.

Side handiness, one can say that it is faithful to the Arcade, since one can carry out in a fraction of a second of the jumps of platform in platform and connect jumps without the least difficulty. A small flat, all the same, concerning the jumps; indeed, for lack of precision, certain jumps forwards on the spot transform some times into jumps and screw and poured, which can result in to put to you in critical situations.

The difficulty is at the level of the version Arcade, it is thus extremely high. Only the best among you will see of it the end without resorting to the backups of state. By advance, I draw my cap to them.

In short, Shadow Dancer was seen offering a very honest conversion to our preferred machine and it is so much better. Missing certainly colors, but faithful graphically, proposing accrocheuses musics and equipped with one animation for the height, Shadow Dancer on Amiga should point out the excellent moments to you that you have pass on the terminal of Arcade at the time.

The popularity of Tetris is felt even more than 20 years after its appearance. Million fans still continue to play the game or the one of its derivatives at the point where competitions of Tetris are organized still today. However, when a game attracts such a considerable number of fans, one cannot escape the companies trying to produce clones of them in order to refill their pockets with money, sometimes with success and on other occasion with a mediocrity which one would never wish not to see. It is today with the turn of Nintendo to offer to us its first game of Tetris for Nintendo DS with Tetris DS.

While playing each incarnation of Tetris or each clone of this last, I cannot prevent myself from asking me what makes the attraction of this Russian game. The principle is so simplistic that it is stupid. Who could have believed that to assemble blocks then to make them disappear could have given right a true phenomenon of the video game? With time, the style was refined and strongly outdistanced original receipt at the point where certain games forgot what made the success of Tetris. But with Tetris DS, Nintendo succeeded in incorporating the style of the original game with a multitude of innovations, the whole through the environment of its best series. Thus, you will be entitled to decorations coming from traditional games such as Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong and Zelda. The result is very successful and makes so that Nintendo created the best Tetris since many years.

On the whole, the game proposes 6 modes, each one based on a traditional game of Nintendo. The principal mode remains the Standard mode, which is based on the game Mario Bros. As its name indicates it, this mode will require you to play of simple parts of Tetris by assembling blocks then while making disappear from the lines. You will be able to game in the traditional mode where you will have to eliminate 200 lines from blocks, in an option where you will have to eliminate a specific number of lines and against the artificial intelligence. What is interesting in the Standard mode is that it is possible to observe a constant progression of Mario Bros. in the screen top as you eliminate from the lines of blocks. Thus, more you will eliminate from lines of blocks, plus Mario will go far in a level. Obviously, you will not see one level of Mario Bros. and you will on the occasion to re-examine several tables of this game until the final affront with Bowser and even more still.

The most original mode suggested in Tetris DS is without discussion the Push mode, based on Donkey Kong. In this variant, a game appears in the screen top and the other in the screen of bottom. The goal is once again to eliminate from the lines from blocks. The modes Mission and Puzzle are also interesting. The first, which is based on Zelda, will require of you to supplement a series of objectives which will appear in the screen top such as eliminating one or more lines with a block in particular. The Puzzle mode, as its name indicates it, will impose more than one hundred to you of headache where you will have to place blocks which will be forced to you in holes in order to eliminate all the blocks from the surface of the game.

However, the Nintendo formula does not manage to make all the game exceptional. Indeed, a mode disappoints largely and even if it is included in the universe of Metroid, it does not manage to get concrete pleasure. This mode name is Catch and will ask you to design blocks 4×4, which will enable you to release from energy in order to destroy the Metroids. The more you will assemble blocks 4×4, the more you will be able to destroy the Metroids and larger will be your number of points. The blocks falling from the screen top could be assembled around one only block which will be able to rotate. Therefore, you will be able to make turn all the blocks which you will stick together if you wish it. The problem is not at the level of the originality of this mode, but well on the side of its pleasure. There is so to speak no spirit to assemble blocks to together eliminate from Metroids and that made so that the Catch mode does not collect our interest that during some parts at most.

Nintendo added two options to the playability of Tetris in order to make this traditional a little the easier for the uninitiated persons. Moreover, you will be able from now on to keep in reserve a block of your choice while pressing on button R. If you are not able to place a block in a good position or if you prefer to keep a block in order to place thereafter best, you can do it of a simple pressure of button. That makes the game not only simpler for the amateurs, but as well easier to accumulate several hundreds of points, in particular in the mode without end of the game.

One of the aspects which were most promising at the time of the advertisement of the game was the possibility of gaming online. Admittedly, to game with other gamers throughout the world with Tetris is mind blowing, but the online portion of the game could have been polished more. Thus, only the Standard modes and Push are offered on line, just like in the local multiplayer parts. You will be able to game against one in the traditional style of Tetris, to two or four gamers in Wi-Fi or with 10 gamers in a local way. Moreover, the game locally supports 10 gamers with only one cartridge of game, which is at the same time remarkable and convivial on behalf of Nintendo.

Obviously, if you have the code of friend of a person whom you know, to set up a multiplayer part on line is easier. Otherwise, you will be able to seek other gameers with whom to game, but only in the mode that you will have selected. It should be noted that as a multiplayer, various no-claims bonus are proposed in order to come you to assistance or to harm your adversaries. For example, you could be entitled to a weapon which will make so that you will be entitled only to straight lines during a short moment. I all the same found damage the impossibility of désélectionner certain options, in particular that allowing to put a standby block. That would have largely helped to raise the challenge suggested as a multiplayer. The number of modes limited to several is also damage and it would have inter alia interesting summer that Nintendo offers to us exclusive modes with the portion multiplayer rather than to allow us simply to game with other amateurs of the game in two modes available also in solo.

Tetris forever rhyme with graphic beauty, but rather with visual simplicity. Tetris DS does not make exception to the rule, although various elements come to decorate the visual beauty of the game, in particular in the Standard mode. This last is characterized not only by traditional sequences of games from Nintendo where you will find per moments of new backgrounds, but also by dynamic characters 2D who will move on the side of your surface of game. Each shape of block has its own color and as a whole, the game is colored enough. Nevertheless, as the game is based on the traditional ones from Nintendo, you do not wait to find superb visual effects or a graphic environment with all to break. Let us say simply that the nostalgic ones are more likely to appreciate those liking the very pretty games.

Will sound side, you be entitled to basic sound effects since after all, for what to await itself from a game where it only suffices to place blocks? On the other hand, the whole is decorated various sound effects of the traditional games of Nintendo. You will thus hear noises of Balloon Fight, Mario Bros., Donkey Kong and Zelda to fuse of a little everywhere and which will decorate the rate/rhythm of each one of your parts. Moreover, you will be entitled to remixed pieces of music of quality of traditional of Nintendo present in the game. Thus wait you to hear music of Mario Bros. and company throughout your parts which will plunge you in the rate/rhythm which can become very frantic of Tetris.

On the level of the lifespan, Tetris is still and always a very immersive game which can cut you reality during hours without you not realizing there. Put-with-share the mode Wrestling, the modes of Tetris DS will distract to you so much during many hours they can be hookers. The majority of the modes also offer several alternatives and of the levels of difficulty, in addition to making it possible to record its higher scores. Obviously, the portion multiplayer adds to the lifespan and capacity to game locally 10 gamers with only one cartridge of game weighs much in the balance. And even after having passed through each mode, a small portion of Tetris once from time to time is always, like at the time, extremely pleasant.
