In Shadow Dancer you are from now on the only one with being able to overcome this insane murderer who improvised himself terrorist in order to complicate you the task.

In your childhood, you freely liked to wander in the fields of flowers. Also, for this radiant time, has had you one to give the nickname of “Dancer”. You worked hard to acquire good number of martial arts in which you are quickly become Master, in order to punish the rascals who, at the time, had grasp you of this ridiculous nickname and who, since, followed you everywhere where you combine.

Prevailing in the shade of the lanes, you ended up correcting all these rogues, using of your ancestral techniques and since, one appoints you “the Dancer of the Shade”. Shadow Dancer, what; in short, is very explained.

In a kimono and a white mask, you thus leave to the adventure in order to kill Sauros, known as the dead loss in the medium, which is incidentally the murderer of your faithful Kato, a young greenhorn whom you had left the gutter to make a champion of it.

Accompanied by your bitch, it not less faithful the Saw, you will have to clear you a passage through four worlds made up of moults levels (or training courses) each one.

Your mission is to recover the bombs disseminated in each one of them in order to be able to pass at the following level.
Armed with thousands of shurikens, which inflate your pockets, and of a katana that you leave his sleeve only when one enemy is too close to you in short it is the festival of the slipway for a warrior such as you.
When the situation requires it, you do not hesitate to launch your wolf over the enemies ambushes in order to dislodge these from their hole and to exterminate them as they deserve it (you Drop and press on fire).
Of course your wolf is not invulnerable and if you delay too much or if the enemy is too strong, in a canine yap tearing your tympanums, they will turn over to the state of inoffensive pup and is not to you any more any utility. Only a recovered bomb will be able to give again a form a little more acceptable to him.

You also have the possibility of progress on several plans. By maintaining the button supported fire and while going upwards or downwards, you will be able to reach certain inaccessible links or to pass over a netting behind which an enemy you nargue.

When you find yourselves in a desperate plight, you will be able to make use of one of your ultimate capacities while pressing on the bar of space; what will remove the screen from the majority of your attackers.

Between each world, you will pass by a level no-claims bonus, during which you will use all the ninja moving towards you. In the event of victory, should gain a life to you.

Developed by Images and distributed by US Gold, Shadow Dancer came in 1991 on the Amiga.

Converted a little more than one year after arriving in the arcades, Shadow Dancer is a beat’ EM all.

Graphically well in lower part of the original version, the title of US Gold uses sixteen colors in a window with honorable dimensions. Extremely fortunately lack of colors, inherent in the title published by US Gold, does not prevent Shadow Dancer Amiga version from being faithful to the Arcade version; and one can only be delighted some.

From a sound point of view, it is good whole, since the musics are of excellent quality and stick well to the action. The sound effects and other voices digits are of honourable quality.

Animation is not remains about it since the multidirectional scrolling is fluid.

Side handiness, one can say that it is faithful to the Arcade, since one can carry out in a fraction of a second of the jumps of platform in platform and connect jumps without the least difficulty. A small flat, all the same, concerning the jumps; indeed, for lack of precision, certain jumps forwards on the spot transform some times into jumps and screw and poured, which can result in to put to you in critical situations.

The difficulty is at the level of the version Arcade, it is thus extremely high. Only the best among you will see of it the end without resorting to the backups of state. By advance, I draw my cap to them.

In short, Shadow Dancer was seen offering a very honest conversion to our preferred machine and it is so much better. Missing certainly colors, but faithful graphically, proposing accrocheuses musics and equipped with one animation for the height, Shadow Dancer on Amiga should point out the excellent moments to you that you have pass on the terminal of Arcade at the time.
